Cheetahs are going global...in the Netherlands? Yes, it's true. CCFK and Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) representatives visited the Netherlands in August 2006 to meet the members of two newly-formed NGOs: Cheetah Friends Europe, which was founded by Nancy Benjamins to support cheetah research and supporting programmes, and SPOTS, which was founded by Simone Eckhardt to support big cat research around the World. This visit provided the Kenya contingency the opportunity to meet the entire CFE board and to visit several of the Zodiac Zoos. Sabine Boucherie brought us to the future cheetah enclosure at Parc Overloorn.
