The Kenya Wildlife Service has pushed the dates for the introduction of new tariffs to next year as a measure to boost tourism that was affected by post-election violence.
KWS Director, Dr Julius Kipng’etich said the institution had pushed the dates for introducing new tariffs in its parks from July 1, this year, to January 1, 2009.
He said the postponement was to enable the tourism industry, especially hotels within parks, recover from low business occasioned by the post-election chaos.
